COMMISSION REPORTS
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Action Minutes of July 26, 2018 - Approved staff recommendation (3-0-2) with a
motion made by Commissioner Carter and seconded by Commissioner Moses.
Individual voice vote reflected approval by Commissioners Carter, Moses and
Sullivan; Commissioners Hagel and Richardson were absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
1.1 Approve the Action Minutes of July 26, 2018.
COMMISSION BUSINESS
2. Neiahborhood Traffic Calmina on Channel Street— Butterfield Staqe Road to Chaote
Street — Approved staff recommendation (3-0-2) with the addition of item 2.4 listed
below. A motion was made by Commissioner Carter and seconded by Commissioner
Moses. Individual voice vote reflected approval by Commissioners Carter, Moses,
and Sullivan; Commissioners Hagel and Richardson were absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission:
2.1 Recommend the City Council adopt a Resolution establishing Multi -Way Stop
Controls at the intersection of Channel Street at Dorchester Drive/Heath Lane.
2.2 Direct Staff to present potential neighborhood traffic calming alternatives to the
Redhawk HOA, Board of Directors.
2.3 Direct Staff to implement the preferred traffic calming alternatives.
2.4 Direct Staff to discuss with the Homeowners Association landscaping affecting
visibility at the intersection of Channel Street and Dorchester Drive/Heath Lane.
3. Review of Protected/Permissive Traffic Signal Operation — Received and filed the
report.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission:
3.1 Receive and file the report.
