Meeting called to order 9:10 by Chairmen, L. Markham.
1. Public discussion-none.
a. Minutes af June 12~1995 meeting corrected to reflect proper date and
approved.
b. Minutes o~ June 29~ 1995 deferred to later meeting for lack of quorum
from that meeting in attendance at this meeting.
New business-none,
4, Old business
a. Mad Madel:Lnes stucco color change in the works; staff and business in
correspondence. Craig believed that change would be complete by next
meeting.
5, Staff approvals.
s. Waterfall sign for Palosar Botel approved.
6. Board discussion.
L, Markham went over his suggestion for bridge handrail design, etc. and
requested that Public Works be advised by staff that 1st St & Main St
bridges wer~ covered by Old Town Specific Plan and that designs should
conform. R. Lord requested that sign approval for "new" Old Town Merchants
be incorporated into Business L~cense process. At the request of Janet
Rock, Craig agreed to set Facade improvement and non-conforming sign
replacement workshop for a first Monday of the month workshop at the Water
District. As the program is set in motion, R. Lord asked about future sign
element r~vision to the Specific Plan, Craig stated that it would be
covere~ in the upcomin9 first revision of the specific plan, Board
discussed height and size revision to plan.
