OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA
DIRECTOR OF PLANNING
August 8, 2002
A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Director of Planning was called to order on Thursday,
August 8, 2002, at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business
Park Drive, Temecula, California. Principal Planner, Don Hazen presiding.
Also present was, Associate Planner, Rick Rush, and Minute Clerk, Kelly Mclntyre.
Principal Planner, Don Hazen called the meeting to order at 1:30 PM.
Item No. 1:
Planninq Application No. PA01-0627, Planninq Application for the installation of a
wireless telecommunication facility, consisting of twelve cellular antennas located
within the interior of 2' diameter cylinders located on the roof of an existinq
building and the installation of an equipment shelter to be installed in the interior
of the building.
Associate Planner Rick Rush presented a brief overview of the project. Principal Planner Don
Hazen opened the public hearing at 1:33 PM. The applicant, Barbara Saito, representing Nextel
Communications, 310 Commerce, Irvine, CA 92620, requested that the Conditions list be
narrowed down to include only items that pertain to the project. Barbara Saito asked that
conditions 18-64 be deleted. Principal Planner Don Hazen agreed to delete conditions 18-64,
except 26 and 27, which would be re-numbered to 18 and 19, and 31, which would stay the
same. Principal Planner Don Hazen closed the public hearing at 1:43 PM.
Principal Planner Don Hazen approved the project and adjourned the meeting at 1:44 PM.
