That study was based on the design of the Old Town Entertainment Center and supporting Western Bypass Corridor road. In that design runoff from the hills west of the WBC as well as the Old Town Entertainment Center and associated development north and south of First Street was diverted into First Street. The result was a 72" pipe from the WBC to Pujol Street and a 96" from Pujol to Murrieta Creek. This revision assumes that in the ultimate condition there will be no such diversion, except for a small portion of the WBC and First St itself. The existing drainage area is assumed to be developed as commercial land use conveying 100 -year runoff in paved driveway aisles and storm drain pipes into a pipe in first Street. (Datafile: "9203FC05.dat") A 2" hydrology analysis was run for the interim condition to insure the adequacy of • the phase 1 system using 10 -year rainfall and existing land use. Drainage patterns were verified by field inspection. (Datafile: "92031NTM.dat") CONCUSION The ultimate condition produces a runoff below Pujol of 90.3 cfs from a drainage area of 21.4 acres, 4.22 cfs/ac, at a time of concentration of 6.5 minutes. The resulting design is a 24" pipe in First Street to Pujol, then a 48" from Pujol to Murrieta Creek. The ultimate condition governs. The ultimate phase 1 design is more than adequate to convey the interim runoff. NORRIE-REPKE, INC. RMH RC ver 6.2 Mar 1999 RATIONAL METHOD HYDROLOGY Riverside County (C)Copyright 1999 Jack P.
