The recyclables will be processed at CR&R's Material
-- Recovery Facility (MRF). The recyclables are separated utilizing
' a process of manual and mechanical sorting.
These combined processes ensure that the maximum amount
of recyclables are recovered from the waste stream and kept
out of the landfill.
The materials from your green organics container will be
transported to CR&R's new Anaerobic Digestion (AD)
Facility in Perris, Ca. The facility will convert all of your
organic waste (yard and food scraps) into renewable
natural gas to fuel our collection fleet and a high quality
fertilizer. This program will keep all of your city's organic
waste out of the landfill.
