HISTORICAL PRESERVATION DISTRICT
LOCAL REVIEW BOARD
January 25, 1993
This was a continuation of the meeting held on 01/22/93.
Present: Larry Markham, Tony Terich, Bob Morris, and
Bill Harker.
Continuation of the review began at 12;00 noon and the
following documents the recommended changes agreed upon at
this meeting.

Change minimum board width from 8" to 12" and
change dimensions of bats from 2" X 2" to 1" X 2"

Add "plate glass windows are acceptable."
Provide for old fashioned phone booths, old style
fire hydrant covers, enclosed areas for news racks
and old fashioned extended arm traffic signals.
Provide for bus stop signs and benches with no
signs allowed on benches. Replace wood pole
street signs with ornamental metal posts. Provide
for drinking fountains and consider instituting
on-foot hand mail delivery in TRC and consider old
fashioned mail boxes.
Finally, the Board recommends getting rid of the
garbage on the utility poles and going back.to the
old style glass insulators.
This concludes the Board's recommendations and the meeting
