HISTORICAL PRESERVATION DISTRICT
LOCAL REVIEW BOARD
Regular Meeting
October 11, 1993
Members Present: Bob Morris, Larry Markham, Tony Terich and Walt Allen
City Staff: Matthew Fagan
Guests Present: None
The meeting was called to order by Matthew Fagan at 9:20 a.m. in the Board Room of the
Community Center, 28816 Pujol Street.
There were no public comments.
I. The Minutes of the September 13, 1993 meeting were approved.
2. There were no projects to review.

Matthew Fagan gave a status report in work and sid that the funding for the Mercantile
building is still in process. He also reported that he would talk to the people at the
"Shell" Market regarding the canopies and to the people at the "Bank" regarding their
sign. He stated that he talked to the person with the "Stamped Concrete" sign and that
the sign would be removed shortly.
4. Matthew Fagan reported that Dave Hogan was still meeting with the Directors of both
the ITA and OTIMA jointly to again go over the Main Street Program and the draft
bylaws. He said the Specific Plan of Old Town will tentatively go before the City
Council in November, 1993 and the implementation program will be coming up for
review.
5. Matthew Fagan reported that vending carts in Old Town was still an issue and that was
going to be resolved prior to the Specific Plan going before the City Council.
6. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
NEXT MEETING WILL BE AT 9:00 A.M. ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8,1993 IN THE
COMMUNITY CENTER BOARD ROOM, 28816 PUJOL STREET.
