Discussed Education and technology support/WiFi gardens—report by staff and discussion. a. District supportive of collaborative efforts for WiFi gardens and volunteer tutors b. IT will scope out locations including RRSP, MCP, and Rotary Park c. WiFi signal will be available 7am - 7pm initially 2. Reviewed Friendship Park branding elements- report by staff and discussion. a. Subcommittee supports benches, imagery, general direction 3. Discuss New signage for park system-report by staff and discussion. a. Pala Park sign will be replaced with "Friendship Park" signage with more modern feel b. PW would like to keep cast concrete for ease of maintenance c. PW will mock up new sign 4. Update on Mini Pump Track status - report by staff and discussion a. Discussed shade/picnic shelter and skills course options for space adjacent to mini pump track b. Currently have several shade structures in inventory c.
