IMPORTANT NOTICE
This meeting is being conducted utilizing teleconferencing and electronic means consistent with State of
California Executive Order N-29-20 dated March 17, 2020, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. For
those wishing to make public comments on the Closed Session item on the special meeting agenda,
please submit your comments by email to the City Clerk at randi .johl@temeculaca.gov. Electronic
comments on these agenda items may only be submitted via email. Comments via text and social media
will not be accepted
CLOSED SESSION - 9:30 AM
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – POTENTIAL LITIGATION. The City Council will meet
in closed session with the City Attorney pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4) with
respect to one matter of potential litigation. A point has been reached where, in the opinion of the City
Attorney, based on existing facts and circumstances, there is a significant exposure to litigation
involving the City. Based on existing facts and circumstances, the City Council will decide whether to
initiate litigation.
ADJOURNMENT
The next regular meeting of the City Council will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at 5:30 p.m., for a
Closed Session, with regular session commencing at 7:00 p.m., at the Council Chambers located at
41000 Main Street, Temecula, California.
NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
Due to the closure of City Hall, the library and other city facilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the full
agenda packet (including staff reports, public closed session information, and any supplemental material
available after the original posting of the agenda), distributed to a majority of the City Council regarding any
item on the agenda, will be available for public viewing on the City’s website at
https://temeculaca.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx at least 24 hours prior to special meeting. If you have questions
