A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING A
TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE FOR A PORTION OF
FIRST STREET OF UP TO 30 DAYS OF CONSTRUCTION
TO ALLOW FOR WET UTILITY AND STORM DRAIN
CONSTRUCTION AND RELOCATION AS REQUIRED BY
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL FOR TRACT MAP 36959-1
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The California State Vehicular Code provides for the promulgation of rules
and regulations for the temporary closure of public streets by local authorities by Resolution.
Section 2. The City Council desires to establish rules and regulations for the temporary
closure of public streets in the interest of promoting safety and protection.
Section 3. The Developer, SB Altair LLC, is required to satisfy the conditions of
approval for Tract Map No. 36959-1, by the construction of public improvements on First Street.
Section 4. The City Council desires to authorize the City Engineer to approve the street
closure of First Street from its intersection with Pujol Street to its intersection with Old Town Front
Street, as shown in Exhibit "A" of this resolution, to allow for construction improvements
beginning January 5, 2026 and lasting for a period of up to 30 days.
Section 5. The City Council of the City of Temecula, hereby authorizes the City
Engineer to permit the street closure of First Street, as shown in Exhibit "A" of this resolution
attached hereto.
