COMMITTEE BUSINESS
1. Discussion of the Old Town Outdoor Live Entertainment Program (LR25-0135)
The subcommittee received a presentation on the program's current status and
four public speakers provided comments regarding the program with varying
experiences. The subcommittee recommended staff extend the program by one
year with the understanding that enforcement will continue but with more of a
collaborative relationship using a 3-strike approach and require timely payment
of any fines (30 days). Staff was directed to review the TUP application for
opportunities to simplify it and implement educational outreach for Old Town
businesses.
