HELD NOVEMBER 23, 1993
A regular meeting of the Temecula Community Services District was called to order at 8:55 PM.

Also present were City Manager David F. Dixon, City Attorney Scott F. Field and June S. Greek,
City Clerk.

It was moved by Director Parks, seconded by Director Mu~oz to approve Consent Calendar No.

1.1 Approve the minutes of October 26, 1993.
The motion was unanimously carried with Director Birdsall absent.

2. City's Parks and Recreation Master Plan
Director of Community Services Shawn Nelson presented the staff report.
Vice President Jeff Stone opened the public hearing at 9:05 PM. Hearing no requests
to speak, he closed the public hearing at 9:05 PM.
It was moved by Director Mu~oz, seconded by Director

Adopt a resolution entitled:

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE TEMECULA
COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT ADOPTING THE PARKS AND RECREATION
MASTER PLAN

The motion was unanimously carried with President Birdsall absent.

General Manager Dixon recognized the great strides the City has made in the area of Parks and
Recreation and thanked Director of Community Services Shawn Nelson for the excellent job he
has done over the past three years.

Director Nelson thanked the Board of Directors, public and staff for their support.

Director Mu~oz commended both the existing and previous Board of Directors for their
committment to the Community Services, which has brought about dramatic improvements in
this community.
ADJOURNMFNT
It was moved by Director Parks, seconded by Director Roberts to adjourn at 9:10 PM to a
meeting on November 30, 1993, immediately following the Joint City Council Meeting, Murrieta
City Council Chambers, 26442 Beckman Court, Murrieta, California. The motion was
unanimously carried.
